Bring New York’s running spirit to your wrist with an independent, marathon-inspired city watch face. Your weekly steps move a tiny runner along a 42.195 km route that winds through the five boroughs. It starts on Staten Island, crosses the Verrazzano into Brooklyn, heads up through Queens and onto First Avenue, takes a quick loop through the Bronx, and comes back down through Manhattan to the finish in Central Park. Along the way there are checkpoints at 5K, 10K, 15K, the half, 25K, 30K, 35K and the finish. Each one turns green as soon as your week’s running catches up to it. Run enough in a week and your runner makes it all the way home, start to finish, right on your wrist. Fall a little short and they’ll wait patiently where they stopped (no judgement, they’re New Yorkers, they’ve seen worse). They pick up again when your new week starts. There’s no progress bar and no percentage to do math on mid-run. It’s just a runner who’s a little further through the boroughs than they were yesterday. The essentials sit right next to the route: time, date, heart rate, battery, today’s distance and today’s steps. Each one has its own clean box with a soft outline, so it stays easy to read whether your runner is crossing a bridge or cutting through the park. Made for AMOLED touchscreen watches.
