SportApp.io Clock – referee match clock for SportApp tournaments Run the official match clock from your wrist. SportApp.io Clock is a referee app for Garmin Fenix that controls the game clock and the score of a SportApp tournament match – with the buttons, no phone in hand. Every start, stop and point goes straight to SportApp, so scoreboards, the live app and the organizer see it within seconds. WHO IT'S FOR Referees at tournaments run on SportApp (sportapp.io). The organizer adds you to the referee assignment, and you get a personal 4-character referee code. No code, no clock: this is a tool for SportApp tournaments, not a standalone stopwatch. HOW IT WORKS 1. Enter your referee code once per tournament. UP and DOWN change the character, START moves on. 2. Pick your match from today's list. You only see the matches you referee: time, field and teams. 3. Run the match: - START/STOP starts and stops the clock with one press and a short vibration. No confirmation screen in the middle of a play. - UP opens points for the home team, DOWN for the away team (+6, +1, +2, +3). START adds, BACK cancels. - Hold UP for the menu: set time, change period, correct score, change match, sign out. - When the period ends, the watch vibrates three times and shows PERIOD ENDED. You feel it before you see it. BUILT FOR THE FIELD - Buttons only. Works with gloves and in the rain – the touchscreen is not used. - SportApp owns the official time. Every command carries the time you saw when you pressed, so Bluetooth delay does not eat game time. - The last command wins. The referee on the watch and the table official in SportApp can both run the clock, and the watch follows within a few seconds. - BACK does nothing during a match, so a stray press will not throw you out. - When the score is recorded in the SportApp scoring app, the score is locked on the watch and the scorer stays in charge. - Green while running, red when stopped. Readable at a glance, mid-play. NO CONNECTION, NO GUESSING The watch talks to SportApp through the Garmin Connect app on your phone. If the connection drops, the screen says No connection, shows the last known time in grey and ignores the buttons. Nothing is queued and sent later, so the clock never changes behind your back. When the phone is back, the watch carries on by itself. Field Wi-Fi has never won a match. Bluetooth to the phone in your bag is enough. WHAT YOU NEED - Garmin Fenix 7 or newer: Fenix 7, 7 Pro, Fenix 8, 8 Pro, 8 Solar, Fenix 9, Fenix E – all sizes - Garmin Connect on your phone, connected to the watch - A referee code from a SportApp tournament ABOUT SPORTAPP SportApp is tournament software for organizers: registration and payments, schedules and brackets, results, a live app without ads, and play-by-play stats for flag football and American football. The story behind every stat. PRIVACY The app sends your referee code, a device identifier (used to block code guessing) and your clock and score commands to SportApp. No location, heart rate or other sensor data is used.
