An industrial instrument panel: charcoal glass panels screwed onto a scuffed metal plate, with a huge condensed time across the middle. The time fills the big centre panel in tall, narrow numerals, hours and minutes in white and the seconds in the accent colour. Above it runs the week, Monday to Sunday, with today picked out on a dark tab, and a bell that lights when an alarm is set. AM or PM sits on its own panel to the right, or 24H when the watch is set to 24-hour time. Top left, over the corner of the big panel, the battery is a vintage pressure gauge: an aged ivory face with a printed 0 to 100 scale and a red zone below 15%, a needle that swings to the charge, the exact percentage under it and a bolt that lights while charging, all under a domed crystal. Top right, the weather: a realistic icon for the current conditions - sun, cloud, rain, snow, storm, fog, or the moon at night, from real sunrise and sunset - with the temperature beside it in large type and today's high and low beneath. Bottom left, the month and day on their own panel. In the middle, three readings printed straight onto the metal, each with its label: steps, calories and heart rate to begin with, and each one can be changed to distance, floors climbed, active minutes this week, body battery, stress or altitude. Under AM/PM, an envelope shows your unread notifications with their count. The look is the point. The plate is worn metal - scratches, faint drafting lines, rivets - and every panel is smoked glass with the metal showing dimly through, a bevelled edge, its own shadow and a glass sheen laid over what it shows. Seven themes change the metal: Hazard Yellow chipped safety paint with black and yellow stripes round the rim, Steel, Cobalt Blue brushed anodised, Racing Red candy paint, Camo, Violet anodised and Copper Patina with green verdigris. Each theme brings its own text and accent colours. Always-on drops to black with the time in the same place, dimmed, inside the outline of its panel, so nothing jumps when you raise your wrist. SETTINGS Theme: Hazard Yellow (default), Steel, Cobalt Blue, Racing Red, Camo, Violet or Copper Patina. Accent colour: Amber (default), Match Theme, Orange, Red, Lime, Cyan or White. Match Theme takes the colour that suits the chosen theme. Top, middle and bottom row: steps, calories, heart rate, distance, floors climbed, active minutes (week), body battery, stress or altitude. Temperature units: follow the watch, Celsius or Fahrenheit. Week starts on: Monday or Sunday. Time format, distance and altitude units follow the watch's own settings.
