Track3D turns your compatible Garmin watch into a live tracking source for the Track3D Ultramarathon tracking platform while you run. Designed for ultra runners and their crews, the Track3D Data Field sends location updates from your Garmin watch through your connected phone to Track3D, helping your crew follow your progress during an event. SETUP 1. Install the Track3D Data Field on your compatible Garmin watch. 2. Add Track3D to a Run or Trail Run activity data screen. 3. In Track3D Race Planner, generate your Garmin Connect IQ pairing code. 4. Open Track3D settings in the Connect IQ mobile app and enter the 8-character pairing code. 5. Save and sync your settings. 6. Start your Garmin activity normally. Once paired, Track3D securely remembers the connection so you do not need to pair again for every activity. ON THE WATCH The Track3D field shows the current tracking connection state, including: • READY • TRACKING • CONNECTION LOST • NO CONNECTION It also shows the age of the most recent successfully acknowledged Track3D update. TRACK3D CREW Watch updates are processed by Track3D alongside other supported tracking sources. Track3D Crew can then use this tracking information together with your race plan to help your crew understand where you are and when you are expected at upcoming checkpoints. IMPORTANT Track3D Connect IQ tracking requires your Garmin watch to communicate through a connected phone with an available Internet connection. It does not replace Garmin activity recording, Garmin navigation, LiveTrack, inReach satellite tracking, or emergency communication services.
