Meridian pairs slender gold hands with a serif digital time, the weekday and date above them and five rings of readings, on a dial that glows from the centre with fine gold lines sweeping across it. Everything is set in the Connect IQ app, in sections: - Dial: Classic Black, Deep Blue, Champagne Gold or Forest Green, with or without the gold lines - Time: the digital time in three sizes, 12- or 24-hour, and hands with or without a second hand; switch either off for a purely analog or purely digital face - Date: the weekday over the date, the date on one line, or your own text over the date - Readings: five rings, each showing steps, heart rate, distance, battery, temperature with today's high and low, Body Battery, calories, active calories, intensity minutes, stress, floors, Pulse Ox, UV, next sunrise or sunset, altitude or notifications - Always-on: the hands and time on black in gold, white or grey, with the date, readings and hour ticks if you want them Good to know: - Touch and hold a reading to open the matching Garmin screen. - To protect the AMOLED screen from burn-in, the face shifts a few pixels each minute, awake and in always-on. - Active calories are an estimate (total calories less your resting burn) and may differ slightly from the Garmin app. - The "Communication" permission is how Garmin lets a face read your Body Battery, stress and Pulse Ox, and open Garmin screens. No data leaves your watch. - Meridian uses only data your watch already has.
