설명

NEW PRODUCT: ON SALE FOR US$1.99! Temperature alone doesn't tell the whole story. A 30°C/86°F day can feel like 40°C/104°F if the humidity is high, pushing your body into the danger zone without warning. This data field reveals that invisible risk. By connecting to your RuuviTag sensor (separately purchased), it provides an accurate, local Heat Index reading that accounts for humidity's effect on your body. Knowing if you are in the "Caution" vs. "Danger" zone helps you decide whether to push for a PR or switch to an easy recovery run. Heat Index measures how difficult it is for your sweat to evaporate. Higher index = less cooling = higher heart rate. Internal Garmin temperature sensors often read incorrectly because they sit against your warm wrist, or in the case of cycle computers, are exposed to the sun - an external RuuviTag can remedy these conditions. FEATURES + Easy setup: No pairing required + Supports RuuviTag and RuuviTag Pro (3-in-1 or 4-in-1) + Supports Celcius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F) + Readings are saved to your FIT files and charts are displayed in the Connect mobile app and on the web + Check the images for instructions on colors and symbols used in the app USAGE 1. Install the data field to your Garmin device 2. In your activity's settings, navigate to Data Screens 3. In a layout with data fields, select a data field to modify 4. From "ConnectIQ Fields" select "Ruuvi Heat Index" 5. You're good to go; any nearby RuuviTag's heat index will be displayed SETTINGS * Heat Index units (°C/°F): Uses your system's temperature settings NOTES * The science: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heat_index * If your device does not support this app, please try this alternative: https://apps.garmin.com/apps/0dbe4f62-b238-471e-9315-2abb57e51b28 * Garmin devices support a limited number of simultaneously used Connect IQ data fields; please confirm you have the "budget" before purchase!
