FULL DESCRIPTION Wine Lovers brings wine culture to your Garmin watch: a free atlas to explore, available entirely offline. Created from a sommelier's passion and experience, Wine Lovers combines research into wine and institutional sources with navigation designed for your wrist. Discover the places, traditions and characteristics behind wines, with curiosity and awareness. A JOURNEY THROUGH WINE REGIONS Start with a world map where each continent has its own colour. Select a continent for a closer view, then choose Explore to open its country list. Continue through regions and wine-growing areas to discover their grape varieties and appellations. GRAPES AND APPELLATIONS, CLEARLY PRESENTED Two separate paths help you find your way: grape varieties introduce the grapes themselves; appellations introduce wines and their territories, through categories such as DOCG, DOC, IGT, AOC/AOP and IGP. Names are listed alphabetically within each category. Coloured icons help identify grape colour or wine style. Explore characteristics, aroma profiles and food-pairing suggestions in the catalogue's information cards. Where an appellation includes different wine types, select the style you wish to explore. Profiles describe typical expressions: producer, vintage and winemaking give each wine its own character. EASY TO USE • Tap items on the screen, or use UP/DOWN to browse and START to select. • Use the scrolling controls to move through information pages. • Press BACK to return to the previous level. • The app follows your watch language: Italian or English, with English used for other languages. • No Internet connection or connected phone is needed while browsing. A project that grows alongside your curiosity. RESEARCH AND SOURCES The catalogue draws on research into wine and institutional sources. Appellation data uses the European eAmbrosia register, MASAF registers and INAO data. Mapping is derived from Natural Earth. Descriptions and pairing suggestions are editorial summaries for educational purposes.
