BETA: this is an early beta release. It has been tested on a fenix 7 only; every other watch listed is untested, so expect rough edges. Know your finish time while you run, without choosing a race distance first. Just start: PaceProjector projects when you will reach every standard race distance, and turns your run into an 80s arcade level. PROJECTED FINISH - Live finish times for 5K, 5 mi, 10K, half marathon, marathon and 50K, or your own custom distance (1 to 250 km) - Based on your recent, grade-adjusted pace, so a hill doesn't wreck the estimate - Clean running screen: a big projected time that rotates through the next milestone, the one after it and your last split, with your current pace and the coach line sharing one slot - Fatigue-aware: the projection tracks how your pace is really fading, not just your average ARCADE LEVEL MAP - The ring around the screen is your target race in thirds, with milestone pips, a boss stage and your player marker - Pre-run screen with the PaceProjector name, an animated runner, PRESS START and your hi-score - STAGE CLEAR fanfare at each milestone, split scoring and combos - Bonus stages: run past your target and every extra milestone gets the fanfare (HALF UNLOCKED!) - Results screen when you stop: goal verdict, NEW HIGH SCORE or GAME OVER, bonus stages and max combo COACH - Next goal and time to it, halfway, fuel reminders, hill and pace cues - Set a goal time to see how far over or under you are, and get a warning when you start too fast - Beat your goal for GOAL CLEAR! and praise at the finish; just miss it and you get SO CLOSE! HIGH SCORES AND GHOST - Your best time for every distance is kept on the watch - Race your ghost: see how far ahead or behind your best you are at each milestone MORE - Lap button sync: press lap at an official km or mile marker to correct GPS distance from there on - Projected finish charted in Garmin Connect, with target time and goal margin in the activity summary - Works indoors on the treadmill - Battery-aware: 1 Hz redraw, few lit pixels and pixel shift on AMOLED screens - Older monochrome Instinct watches (Instinct 2, Crossover, Instinct E, Instinct 3 Solar): get PaceProjector Lite SETUP Add PaceProjector to a running activity data screen. A 1-field layout shows the full level map; smaller layouts show the next milestone. Set target race, custom distance and goal time on the watch (activity settings, then Data Screens, then PaceProjector, then Settings) or in the Connect IQ app on your phone, where you also set fuel reminders and coach vibration. PRIVACY PaceProjector does not collect, transmit or share any personal data, and it has no network access and no accounts. Your high scores, ghost splits and settings stay on your watch. The only thing it writes is the projected-finish chart data added to your own activity file, which is handled by Garmin Connect under your own Garmin account.
