No hands. The dial itself turns. Orrery is inspired by Japanese lacquerware and the orreries of old: two rings of black or red lacquer, inlaid with fragments of mother-of-pearl, turn slowly under a fixed gold pointer at 12. The outer ring carries the minutes, the inner ring the hours, in old-style serif numerals. Read the time where the rings meet the pointer. At the centre, a pearl rests inside a third band of shell, with the date and two stats written on it. A small pearl orbits it once a minute for the seconds. - Three finishes: Urushi (black lacquer and pearl), Shu (red lacquer and pearl) and Kin (black lacquer and gold leaf) - Three pointers: Armature (an orrery arm holding the hour and the minute in glazed collars), Loupe (a gold-framed glass wedge) and Index (a gold diamond) - Two stats on the centre pearl, each chosen from steps, battery, heart rate, Body Battery, calories, stress, floors climbed and intensity minutes - Press either half of the pearl to open that stat's Garmin glance - Optional seconds pearl - Low-power always-on mode: only the numerals near the pointer, the pointer in outline and the date Change the finish, pointer and stats in the Connect IQ app settings.
