Clear, organised and easy to read. Once installed and configured, everyday use is 100% offline. No internet connection or connected phone required. -FOLLOW THE PRESSURE. SEE THE TREND. Watch elevation-adjusted air pressure rise and fall on a clear graph. Follow sustained changes for an extra clue to developing weather, using your watch’s own readings, not an online forecast. -SEE WHERE YOUR BATTERY IS HEADING A percentage tells you what is left. A graph shows how it is being used. Track battery history, view available runtime estimates and see your estimated reserve at your return deadline when enough history has been collected. -KEEP YOUR NEXT IMPORTANT LIMIT IN SIGHT Set check-in, return and custom deadlines, with early and urgent visual warnings. QUIET brings one prioritised limit into focus, with more detail and acknowledgement a touch-and-hold away. -PLAN YOUR RETURN BEFORE SUNSET DAYLIGHT shows the next sunrise or sunset, with colour-coded phases and a progress bar. Enable optional return planning and set your return duration, safety buffer and warning threshold. The planning bar separates remaining margin, return allowance and available buffer. -White means margin remains. -Amber highlights a closing margin or RETURN NOW. -Red warns that your planned return would finish after sunset. Select START RETURN to see TIME LEFT before sunset minus your safety buffer. BUFFER IN USE and SUNSET PASSED make the next stages clear. Select RETURNED to finish and switch planning off, keeping your saved durations. With planning off, sunrise/sunset information and the progress bar remain. Choose a fixed reference location or a recent available GPS fix. Hold for event times, planning details, coordinates, location source and fix age. -USEFUL DETAIL. Local time, optional UTC, weekday and date, plus available recorded heart-rate and blood-oxygen readings. Hold either health reading to open its own full-screen history graph. Clearly separated panels and purposeful colour help keep different readings distinct. Keep a custom message or important instruction in its own dedicated panel, with a full-text reader. -MAKE IT YOURS Choose from eight outline colours, including tactical green, or switch manually to a subdued-red night display. Adjust return planning, return duration, safety buffer, warning threshold and night colours directly in the watch’s face settings. -TOUCH CONTROLS Touch and hold a panel to open its detail view, then hold a labelled action to use it. Detail views close automatically after 20 seconds without another delivered hold, or earlier when the watch face enters sleep. Touch interaction must be enabled in your watch settings. -GOOD TO KNOW Pressure trends are clues, not a weather forecast. Battery predictions are estimates. DAYLIGHT planning uses your manually configured return duration. TIME LEFT during a return is a daylight budget, not a journey estimate. Terrain and weather can reduce usable light. The face never starts GPS: Auto requires a timestamped fix no more than one hour old. Verify your reference location, especially when travelling. Missing location or unavailable sun events suppress the calculation. Health values and graphs use existing recordings, not live measurements. Unavailable values show “--”; O2* indicates that Garmin provides no measurement time. Undated readings are not plotted. Gaps in recorded history remain visible. Night display changes face colours, not the backlight. To change settings, open the Garmin Connect IQ app, select QUIET under your installed watch faces and open Settings.
