Descrizione

A watch face designed for extended backpacking trips, so battery life is the priority, resulting in the omission of some fields such as heart rate, oxygen, and distance/steps. Watch face can be used when airplane mode is turned on, which turns off bluetooth and WiFi, and battery save on as neither mode will impact the displayed fields. The temperature field uses the watch’s sensors, not the weather. Sensor data and history are collected (stored in temporary RAM) for accurate display readings. Useful for monitoring watch case temperature when charging in the sun. The bottom right numbers are battery percentage and battery life in days. Both metric and imperial units are supported for elevation and temperature. 24 hour time format is also supported. Larger font size for main data fields allows for easy viewing. Recommend to have the backlight turned off during the day and only come on automatically with a gesture from sunset to sunrise. Q&A Why is there a “GPS Recal" message where elevation should be after a power cycle or reset and how to resolve the message? If the watch was unable to read data from its barometric sensor, it will require a GPS calibration under the altimeter settings. Why is there a “Wait” message where temperature should be? Since the watch uses the sensor, on a fresh boot-up, will not have any data on its temperature, because this sensor data is stored in temporary RAM. Simply wait for the watch’s sensors to collect fresh temperature data.
