Descrizione

Mashday runs your brew day from strike water to chilled wort, with wet hands and without a phone. It works out the strike water temperature with John Palmer's infusion equation from your grain weight, grain temperature and water-to-grain ratio, the boiling water you need for every step mash rest, the sparge and pre-boil volumes from your boil-off rate, and the temperature your water really boils at, read from the watch's own barometer. During the boil the hop schedule counts down and the watch vibrates a minute before and at every addition. Bitterness is calculated with Tinseth's formula; if you add a hop late, Mashday recalculates the IBU with the time it really boiled. Log your pH and gravity readings, see how far you are from your target gravity and how much water to add or how long to keep boiling, and correct refractometer readings with Sean Terrill's cubic formula. WHAT IT DOES - Strike water temperature and volume, infusion volumes for step mashes using boiling water at your local boiling point - Sparge, pre-boil and total water from batch size, boil-off rate and grain absorption - Brew day flow: heat strike water, mash steps with timers, sparge, boil, chill; timers keep running while the app is closed - Hop schedule countdown with a vibration before and at every addition, live Tinseth IBU and recalculation for late additions - Predicted OG from grain, malt potential and efficiency; FG and ABV from your attenuation - Measured pre-boil gravity, OG, pH and fermenter volume, with real efficiency and how much water to add or how many minutes to boil to hit your target - Refractometer tool: Terrill cubic FG with wort correction factor, OG from Brix - Up to six recipes with up to four mash steps and eight hop additions each - Brew log of your last 30 brews: add FG later by hydrometer or refractometer, average efficiency and ABV - Celsius or Fahrenheit, litres and kilograms or gallons and pounds; five languages and a glance with the running step or boil countdown WHAT IT NEEDS - Nothing to set up. A barometer makes the boiling point exact; without one Mashday uses altitude, a height you enter or sea level - Vibrations fire while Mashday is open; the timers themselves keep running when it is closed - Mashday is a brewing calculator; results are estimates that depend on your equipment
