Descrizione
Pickleball scorekeeper for Instinct 2 and 100+ Garmin watches: side-out and rally scoring, singles and doubles, Server 1/2 and the right court, every game saved as a lap.
Free, with no ads and nothing to buy.
THE SCORE, THE SERVER AND THE COURT, ALWAYS RIGHT
- Side-out scoring: only the serving side scores. Doubles games start at 0-0-2, Server 1 and Server 2 follow the rules, and the screen shows who serves and from which court ("YOU R", "PARTNER L", "THEY R"). The score is shown the way you call it: "4-2-1".
- Rally scoring: every rally scores a point, with one server per side out in doubles, as in the current official rules.
- Singles, doubles and mini-singles (half-court singles, also called skinny singles).
- Games to 11, 15 or 21, win by 2, or to 7 for a short game. One game, best of 3 or best of 5.
PLAY, DON'T COUNT
- One press per rally: UP for your team, DOWN for theirs (on Venu, vivoactive, Approach and D2 Air: START and BACK, or a tap on the top or bottom half). The watch moves the score, the serve and the court for you.
- Game point and match point: a banner and a buzz.
- Change ends: a buzz between games, and in the middle of a one-game match or the deciding game (at 6, 8 or 11 points; 4 in a game to 7), as the rules say. You can turn on the mid-game alert for every game.
- Made a mistake? Undo goes back through the whole match, even past the end of a game, and the menu shows the score it goes back to.
- Touch scoring can be switched off in the menu, so a wet screen never adds a point. It starts off on watches with five buttons.
MADE FOR INSTINCT 2
Big digits on the Instinct 2, 2S and 2X screens, with the time and the games in the round window. It also runs on 100+ other Garmin watches: fenix 5 Plus to fenix 9 and fenix E, epix Gen 2 and Pro, Enduro, Enduro 3 and 4, Forerunner 55, 70, 165, 170, 245, 255, 265, 570, 745, 945, 955, 965 and 970, Venu 1 to 4, Venu Sq, Venu X1, vivoactive 4 to 6, Instinct 3, Instinct E, MARQ, D2 Air X10 and Mach, Descent and Approach S50/S70/S72 (full list under Compatible Devices).
SAVED AS PICKLEBALL
On Instinct 2 and on watches with recent Garmin software the match is saved as Garmin's Racket / Pickleball type, named "Pickleball". Older models save it as Tennis, still named "Pickleball". Every game is a lap, and the final score ("11-7 9-11 11-5") is saved with the activity, with time and heart rate.
ALWAYS A WAY OUT
BACK opens the match menu (hold BACK on Venu, vivoactive, Approach and D2 Air): Undo point, Resume, Restart match, Save or Discard. Save, Discard and Restart ask again. Nothing starts the next game until you do. Long sessions save: tested with 42 games in a row.
BATTERY
The app never turns on GPS (you're on a court). Heart rate comes from the watch's own sensor.
The screens are in English. Questions or a rule we got wrong? Write to the support address on this page.
Novità
From your next match, the score shows in the Garmin Connect app: the match in the activity summary, each game in the laps.
