WGG (Windy Guide of the Galaxy) turns your Garmin watch into a dedicated kiteboarding, wing foiling, windsurfing, pumpfoiling, snowkiting and landboarding session tracker — automatic speed, distance, jumps, pumps and heart rate, recorded right on your wrist. Requires the free WGG companion app for iPhone, which sends your sessions to windygalaxy.com. Android support is in progress — Android riders can record on the watch, but sessions have to be uploaded by hand from Garmin Connect for now. TRACK YOUR SESSION Start a session before you rig up and WGG records your full GPS track, top speed, distance covered, and session duration automatically — no manual laps, no fiddling with settings mid-session. JUMP & TRICK DETECTION WGG automatically detects every jump the moment you land — height, airtime, distance, and max G-force. Rotation-based tricks like front rolls and back rolls are detected and counted too, so you don't have to remember what you did out there. REAL-TIME PERSONAL BEST ALERTS Beat your all-time top speed, or your best jump height or distance, and WGG tells you immediately — a full-screen alert and a distinct vibration the instant it happens, not just a number you check later. SESSION HIGHLIGHTS Stop and save, and WGG flashes your session's highlights right on the watch — personal bests you just set, new tricks you landed for the first time. SYNC TO YOUR PHONE Pair with the free WGG iPhone app to send your finished session over Bluetooth. Review the full GPS track and jump-by-jump breakdown, log the kite, wing, or board you rode, and see how your session stacks up on WGG's rankings — all at windygalaxy.com. WORKS WITH Fenix 6, 7, 8 and 9 series (including Pro and Solar), Fenix E, Epix 2 and Epix 2 Pro, Forerunner 70, 165, 170, 265, 570, 955, 965 and 970, and Instinct 3 AMOLED. WGG is free, with a free companion app for iPhone. Find your spot's wind forecast, log your gear, and track every session at windygalaxy.com.

Jumps are now measured from the watch’s movement on every watch with a gyroscope (fēnix 6 Pro and later, epix, Forerunner 265/570/955/965/970, Instinct 3 AMOLED). Forerunner 70/165/170 and fēnix 6/6S: Space Mode is no longer offered (no gyroscope or not enough memory).
