Orbit Pulse puts the hours and minutes in the middle of the screen and wraps them in the numbers you keep glancing down for: the weather now, the next few hours, the next four days, a second city's time, your battery and your steps. Pick navy, bronze or teal for all of it. TIME AND DATE - Large hours over the minutes in Saira, made for each screen's resolution so they stay crisp at every size. The minutes run from light to deep in the theme's color: orange in navy, silver in bronze, teal in teal. - Every other line on the face, from the date to the readings and day names, is set in Saira too. - The time sits in a round frame with accent arcs on its diagonals and beside the digits. - 12-hour or 24-hour, following your watch's own setting. - The weekday, day and month above the time, in your watch's language. WEATHER - Current conditions in the left dial: a drawn condition icon and the temperature with its unit. - Four slots three hours apart across the top, each labelled with its hour and showing its temperature and condition icon, joined by a temperature graph. - The next four days across the bottom: weekday, condition icon, and the high over the low beside a thermometer that runs warm at the top to cold at the bottom. - Temperatures follow your watch's units, or you can force Celsius or Fahrenheit in the settings. WORLD CLOCK - A second city in the right dial: its name, its flag, its time and its date. - 16 cities: Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, Sao Paulo, London, Paris, Berlin, Istanbul, Moscow, Dubai, Delhi, Singapore, Tokyo, Sydney, Auckland and UTC. You pick one in the settings. - Daylight saving is handled for the US, European, Australian and New Zealand rules. - A dot on the dial turns green while your phone is connected. THE TWO DIALS - Each dial is ringed by how far through its day that clock is, so the two read against each other: one glance tells you whether the other city is only starting its day or nearly done with it. BATTERY AND STEPS - A segmented battery arc across the top with the exact percentage, turning red at 20 percent and below. - Your step count and your watch's own step goal over a curved bar of tiles that fills as you walk towards the goal. Before the first tile fills, a small marker shows where the bar starts. COLOR THEMES - Navy with orange, bronze with brushed steel, or teal metal, chosen in the settings. - On AMOLED watches that need burn-in protection, bronze and teal set the dials and the time frame in metal rings: bronze's discs are spun metal, and teal's time frame is textured like stone. AROUND THE EDGE - Minute ticks round the edge, brighter at the fives and white at the quarters. Across the top they give way to the battery arc. ALWAYS-ON - On AMOLED watches that need burn-in protection, the sleeping face turns to a sparse, dim layout: the time, the date and the battery only, shifting position every minute. NO PERMISSIONS - Orbit Pulse asks for no permissions at all. It reads only what your watch already knows: the time, the weather your watch has already fetched, the battery and your activity data. Nothing leaves the watch. SETTINGS Garmin Connect → your watch → Watch Faces → Orbit Pulse → Settings. Each setting carries a short explanation under its title in Garmin Connect. - World clock city — which city the right dial shows. 16 choices, listed west to east with each city's standard UTC offset and UTC last; daylight saving is applied for you. New York by default. - Temperature unit — Follow watch setting (default), Celsius, or Fahrenheit. It applies to every temperature on the face: the current reading, the hourly row and the four days. - Color theme — Navy (default), Bronze, or Teal. It colors the whole face. Watches with a memory-in-pixel screen show each theme in the few colors that screen has. GOOD TO KNOW - Weather comes from your watch's own weather data, which needs a phone connection to refresh.

1.2.2 — The face is now called Orbit Pulse and has a new look: Saira type, the city's name back in the world dial, a round frame behind the time, and a curved bar of tiles under your steps. A new Color theme setting adds bronze and teal to navy. The ticks at 3, 6 and 9 are shorter, the quarter and five-minute ticks are thinner, and the week letters under the time are gone.
