Make time your own with Inkstride, a free watch face with original brush lettering on a clean black background. Choose Brush, Chisel, Heavy Ink, Thin Brush, or Dry Brush lettering, then pick from 22 color themes, including Burnt Orange / Clay, Olive / Sage, and Dusty Green / Smoke. Your selected theme carries through the time, detail icons, labels, and values. Set the left and right detail slots independently. Depending on your watch, choices include date, steps, battery, altitude, weekly running and cycling distance, weekly intensity, heart rate, floors, daily distance, calories, Body Battery, stress, recovery, respiration, sleep score, temperature, feels-like temperature, humidity, wind, sunrise, sunset, or a blank slot. Menus include only readings supported by the watch software. Unavailable or stale readings display --. Distance, elevation, temperature, wind and clock values follow the applicable watch settings. Weather readings use Garmin's current conditions and expire when the observation is missing, in the future, or more than three hours old. Older compatible watches use recent on-device history for heart rate and supported wellness readings. The date's weekday and month follow supported watch languages, with safe numeric or -- fallbacks when localized text cannot be displayed. The weekday/day/month order stays fixed. Settings and metric labels remain in English. On AMOLED models, the sleep display switches to clean hollow time contours in your chosen color and hides the detail slots. Thin Brush and Dry Brush use the established outline forms. Data callbacks do not wake the display while it is hidden or asleep. On MIP models, time and cached details remain visible in sleep. Metrics refresh after the face wakes. Customize the time style, color theme, and both detail slots in the watch face's Connect IQ settings. Defaults are White, Brush, date on the left, and steps on the right. Your saved detail choices are preserved. Inkstride supports the compatible Forerunner and fēnix models listed on this page. Available choices and layouts adapt to each model. Check the compatible-device list before installing. Inkstride has no advertising, analytics, account sign-in, or internet access. It reads selected information locally on your watch and does not send fitness readings to an external server. It does not request GPS or Positioning access. Gallery images combine an official Garmin fēnix 9 51 mm hardware photo with native fēnix 9 simulator face captures and sample data. They are mockups, not physical-device photography. Appearance and available detail options vary by model.

Version 0.1.8 adds Thin Brush and Dry Brush, expands the palette to 22 themes, and supports localized weekday/month text from supported watch languages. Restores clean outline-only AMOLED always-on time across all five styles. Dry Brush digits are larger on Forerunner 970, and older MIP models use less memory. Existing widget choices, saved settings, and date/steps defaults are preserved.
