Pumpa is a pumpkin patch at the end of an October day. Seven pumpkins sit in the field below a crooked fence and a harvest moon, and they light one by one as your steps add up: a carved face for every seventh of your goal, and a pool of candlelight on the earth beneath it. A small legend underneath says what the lanterns count and how far you have come.
The foreground holds four readings: heart rate, Body Battery, the weather and the next sunrise or sunset, each marked by its icon. Battery and alerts sit with the date at the top.
Keep the patch at dusk, or choose frost, harvest gold, night or a blood moon, or let the sky follow the sun. The moon shows its real phase.
The numerals are Jolly Lodger, a playful spooky face. On memory-in-pixel screens every sky is drawn for 64 colours, dithered by hand; on AMOLED it is a smooth gradient. The always-on mode keeps the time, one line of ground and the lit faces, glowing in the dark.

Pumpa now speaks Polish, German, French and Spanish: its settings in Garmin Connect and this listing.
