WristCommand lets you lock, unlock and control your own car from your Garmin watch over Bluetooth when you are near it. No internet or sign-in needed. Works with Tesla Model 3 and Model Y (up to 2 cars). WristCommand is an individual developer's app and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Tesla, Inc. Set up once: 1. Install WristCommand (app) and WristCommand Face (watch face). 2. On your phone, open WristCommand's app settings in the Connect IQ Store app or the Garmin Connect app. Choose "Car 1 model" and enter "Car 1 VIN" (17 letters and digits). A second car is optional. 3. On the watch, open WristCommand and agree to "Terms of use" (tap through to "Agree"). If you change the settings while the app is open, close it and open it again. 4. In the car, open the app; "Pair the watch key first" is already selected. Select it. When the watch shows "Tap key card", tap your key card on the card reader. Check that the car name at the top is the car you are sitting in. For a second car, open the app inside that car, choose it with "Switch car" and pair the same way. 5. Select WristCommand Face in your watch's watch face settings and apply it (on epix watches, hold MENU from the watch face). Buttons differ by watch; for other models see the watch face section of the manual. Using it: - Car picture: unlocks when locked, locks when unlocked. By default it also turns on keyless driving (remote start) when it unlocks. To only unlock, choose Settings & more → Car picture tap → Unlock / lock. - Caution: after remote start, the car does not lock by itself when you get out. Tap the car picture again to lock it. - Three icons: frunk, climate and trunk by default. Change them in Settings & more → Face icons. - Commands go from the watch straight to the car over Bluetooth, so they work only near the car. The first connection can take over 10 seconds. Unlock, lock and remote start over Bluetooth were tested in a real car with epix Pro (Gen 2) 47mm. Trunk, frunk, climate, battery and the other controls are included but have not yet been confirmed over Bluetooth. Supports 59 Garmin watch models (see Compatible Devices); other models' watch face screens were checked in the Garmin simulator. Provided free and as is. After each command, check that your car is locked; see the terms for liability. Faster Bluetooth: the watch now receives the car's replies as notifications and sends without waiting for a confirmation of each piece. In our car test, the key check dropped from about 9 seconds to under 1 second. If your car does not answer this way, a command can fail. The app then uses the previous method until it is closed, and if it fails again after the app is reopened (two in a row), it uses the previous method for a day.
