The widget shows the current temperature of your Garmin device in degrees Celsius, Fahrenheit, and Kelvin. Switch between units and display options by pressing the START button or tapping the screen for touchscreen devices. The selected view is saved after exiting the widget. Large font is used. No Internet connection is required. First, the widget reads the internal sensor data. The sensor is affected by body heat, so the value is an average between your body temperature and the ambient temperature. If you need to know the ambient temperature, remove the device from your wrist. Wait 10 minutes for the device to show the ambient temperature. Some devices require you to connect an external temperature sensor to the watch (for example, Montana 7xx Oregon 7xx, Gpsmap 66/86/67). Tempe and any external ANT+ temperature sensor are also supported. Connect Tempe via the appropriate menu in the settings of your device. Open the widget. Wait for the device to receive an update from the sensor, this can take up to 30 seconds. (c) Navicom, Навиком
