The tide, the sun and the moon on your wrist, drawn like a 70s surf almanac. Glance down and see if the water is coming or going. The face works without an account. Turn on the tide setting and it shows the tide at the nearest public surf spot; with a free BreakFinder account the chip also carries your home spot's surf score. WHAT YOU SEE • A tide band: the last 6 and next 6 hours as a curve between the turns, a marker for now, the next turn with its time (HIGH 20:12), the direction in a word (rising, falling, slack) and the range (RANGE 2.9 M, feet on imperial watches). No absolute sea level on purpose: every tide table has its own zero, so I show the range and the times instead • The sun on a dotted arc between first and last light; at night, the moon in its current phase • A cream poster by day, a dark one at night (automatic, or fixed in the settings) • A chip with your spot's surf score and the word for the day (CLEAN 68). Without a score it says SCORE? • AMOLED Always-On shows the curve as a line and an outline clock, and shifts every minute against burn-in. Instinct gets a black-and-white version of the same band WITHOUT AN ACCOUNT Clock, sun and moon from your watch, and a sample wave with PAIR FOR YOUR SPOT in the footer. Never an empty face. Optional: switch on "Tide at my nearest spot" in the settings and the face loads real tide times for the nearest public spot. WITH A BREAKFINDER ACCOUNT Your home spot: its name, tide, light times and the surf score chip. BreakFinder Premium adds nothing to this face. SETTINGS Tide at my nearest spot (sends position, 0.1 deg), API token, Look (Auto = dark at night, Light, Dark) and Update interval (5, 15, 30 or 60 minutes). SET UP 1. Install the face. It's the same token. PRIVACY Without an account and with the nearest-spot setting off, nothing leaves your watch. With the setting on, the face sends your position rounded to 0.1 degrees (about 11 km) to breakfinder.surf, never a precise location. It is not stored on the server.
