A miniature Nixie tube clock: four glass tubes standing on a circuit board, each lighting one glowing numeral. The hours and minutes sit in two pairs of tubes, with two small neon colon lamps between them. Each numeral is a thin bent wire that glows orange inside the glass, in front of the nine unlit wires stacked behind it, with a fine mesh in front and mica discs above and below, as in a real tube. In 12-hour mode the first tube stays dark before ten o'clock, the way a real Nixie clock does. Under the tubes, a quiet readout in the same warm gold as the numerals. Heart rate sits on the left and steps on the right, each an icon over its value, with the full weekday and date between them. A step lower come the temperature, your recovery time in hours and body battery. The watch battery sits at the bottom edge. Everything physical is rendered, not drawn. The board has copper traces raised under the solder mask, gold pads and vias, chip components and a small IC. A row of lit blue LEDs runs across the top, and each tube stands in a black socket with a blue glow at its foot. The glass carries its own reflections and the getter's silver flash in the dome, and the tubes, LEDs and parts all cast soft shadows on the board. Always-on keeps the same tubes and numerals on black, dimmed together. It is measured against the display brightness limit, so it stays lit instead of blanking after a few seconds. SETTINGS for Ixi Circuit board: green, blue, black or red solder mask. Temperature units: follow the watch, Celsius or Fahrenheit. Time format follows the watch's own 12/24-hour setting.
