CountPadel – your padel scoreboard right on your wrist CountPadel turns your Garmin watch into a compact companion for your padel match. Points, games, sets, serves, tie-breaks and match duration are all managed directly on the watch, so you can concentrate on the game. Before the match, you set the initials for both teams and choose between ‘Best of 3’ and ‘Best of 5’. You can also decide whether to play with the classic advantage system or the golden point system. During the match, CountPadel clearly displays the current score on the screen. The app automatically takes into account the padel/tennis scoring system with 0, 15, 30, 40 and advantage, recognises set and match wins, and automatically switches to a tie-break at 6–6. Completed tie-break sets are displayed, including the loser’s tie-break score. The current server is highlighted directly next to the respective team. In addition, a small court diagram shows which side is serving. The serving side changes automatically according to the current score. As well as the score display, other pages are available during the match: Score: current score, games, sets already played, serving team and serving side Court Timer: freely customisable countdown for court time; the duration can be adjusted in 5-minute increments before the start, paused, resumed and reset. A vibration alert is triggered when the timer expires. Info: current time, heart rate and the number of steps taken since the start of the match in a compact graphical overview Undo: a point entered by mistake can be undone – even immediately after a regular match point Manual match end: a match can be ended early at any time CountPadel also records the match as a Garmin activity called ‘Padel Match’. This allows match and fitness data to be saved and analysed in Garmin Connect afterwards. This includes, amongst other things, teams, score, tie-breaks, winners, game mode, match duration, heart rate and steps. The interface is designed for use with both the physical buttons on the Garmin watch and – on supported models – touch input. It adapts to different display sizes and has been specifically designed for use during a live match. CountPadel keeps track of the score – you just focus on the next point.
