Daybook turns your Garmin watch into the front page of a small newspaper: a blackletter masthead, a large clock, two short articles about your day and a hand engraved illustration that follows the sun. Every value is live, set in a classic newspaper typeface and laid out like print. THE PAGE • Masthead "The Daybook" or a headline with the weekday and date • Large clock with optional seconds • Bluetooth and notification symbols beside the time, if you like • Two article columns: the daily bulletin with your energy and steps, the sun bulletin with sunrise and sunset, or any reading written as a short sentence • A ticker of two readings at the foot of the page, labelled like a newspaper band: HR 68 | BB 72 FIVE ENGRAVINGS, ONE DAY Sunrise, day, sunset, twilight and night each have their own engraving. Daybook calculates the sun for your location and changes the picture as the light changes. You decide how long the sunrise and sunset pictures stay (0 to 120 minutes). At night the paper turns dark by itself, or you keep it light or dark all day. MADE FOR EVERY DISPLAY AMOLED watches show the full page when you raise your wrist and a quiet grey serif clock in always on mode, drawn so that no pixel stays lit from one minute to the next. MIP watches keep the newspaper on the display all day, with an optional reduced rest view. Monochrome Instinct watches get a page of their own: the title beside the subscreen, a dateline, the clock, two columns with two rows each and the engraving reaching down to the edge of the lens. The subscreen shows the weather symbol and temperature or any reading you choose. Each watch lists only what it can measure. A value the watch does not know yet is marked as unknown instead of being guessed. It runs no background service, opens no connection of its own and does not track you with GPS. No data leaves your watch.
