A glance that answers one question: when will I be recovered? It shows the hours your watch reports until full recovery and the day and hour that countdown actually ends, so you stop doing clock math after training. Open the widget for a bigger view with the finish day and time. Needs a watch that reports Garmin recovery time. Fenix, Epix, Forerunner, Instinct 3 AMOLED, Venu 4, Venu X1, quatix, tactix and vívoactive 6 report it, and the compatible device list on this page is the full answer. Venu 2, Venu 3 and vívoactive 5 do not report it, so they are no longer listed. The watch reports recovery in whole hours, so the end time is approximate by design. If your watch reports no active recovery timer, the glance says recovered. If it has not produced a recovery time yet, the widget says so rather than showing a blank screen. Where to find it after install: it lives in the glances list, not the apps list. On touchscreen watches you add it by hand: open your glances, touch and hold to edit, tap add, and pick Recovery Countdown. Tap the glance for the full screen view. Free 7 day trial, then one-time purchase. No subscription, no account, no phone, no network, and no private data.

Fixes a Connect IQ error that could make the widget stop working after several opens, especially on fenix 8. Centers the glance text so it is not cut off, and corrects the finish weekday for recovery times that end just before midnight.
