Beschreibung

Arepa Power Lite is a digital watch face with Venezuelan identity, built to be read at a glance: black background, three concentric rings in the colours of the flag, a large clock and your arepas for the day. WHAT YOU SEE • Three rings tracking the CURRENT week, Monday to Sunday: steps in yellow, kilometres in blue and active kcal in red, each with its own configurable goal. • Date and time, with the font size picked for each screen. • And the twist: today's active kcal turned into equivalent AREPAS. HOW THE AREPAS ARE CALCULATED Only ACTIVE kcal count, never resting ones. The watch reports total daily calories, so the face subtracts the resting share: it estimates it with the Mifflin-St Jeor formula from your Garmin profile (weight, height, age and sex), or uses the value you set in the settings. You can also change the kcal per arepa (215 by default, one medium grilled arepa). RUNS ON 113 WATCHES It is the only one of the two Arepa Power faces that reaches transflective MIP watches (Forerunner, fēnix, Enduro, MARQ, vívoactive…) as well as AMOLED ones. The colours are pure primaries on purpose: that is what stays readable both on an 8-colour panel and on an AMOLED. ALWAYS-ON DISPLAY On AMOLED watches, low-power mode keeps only the essentials — date, time and a tricolour line — with very few lit pixels and a shift every minute to protect the screen. MIP watches do not need it: the screen is always on and shows the full face at all times. SETTINGS (from Garmin Connect) • Weekly goal for steps, kilometres and active kcal • Kcal per arepa • Time format (automatic, 24-hour or 12-hour) • Resting calories: normally estimated from your Garmin profile (Mifflin-St Jeor); if you know your actual basal metabolic rate, you can set it yourself NOTE: the rings measure the CURRENT week, not the last seven days. They start from zero every Monday, just like the watch's own weekly stats. WANT MORE DATA? "Arepa Power" (without Lite) adds Body Battery, heart rate, watch battery and six on-screen metrics, for AMOLED watches.
