Beschreibung

BinaryClock shows the time as a binary clock: six columns of squares, one for each digit of hours, minutes and seconds. Hours, minutes and seconds each get their own color, taken from the palette you choose: the classic one is green, orange and blue, and there are six more, each with well separated colors, including grayscale. How to read it: each column is one digit. Add up the lit squares from bottom to top: 1, 2, 4, 8. From left to right: hour tens, hour units, minute tens, minute units, second tens, second units. Above the clock there is the moon phase, below it the battery level. Options (Connect IQ app on your phone): - Palette: classic (green, orange, blue), grayscale (white, gray, white), fire (red, yellow, orange), ocean (cyan, blue, aquamarine), neon (pink, yellow, cyan), matrix (green, dark green, green), RGB (red, green, blue) - Size: normal, large, extra large (squares and text) - Show seconds: yes / no - Hour format: watch setting, 24h, 12h - Off bits: light gray, dark gray, hidden, outline - Battery: large bar and/or percentage (turns red at 20%) - Moon phase: on/off, moon with craters in three sizes (small, medium, large), above or to the left of the clock, choice of 10 colors (including the palette colors), illuminated percentage. New moon is a dim outline; the moon gets brighter as it fills and is fully bright only at full moon. Battery friendly: in standby the seconds stop and the watch face redraws only once a minute. On AMOLED watches the always-on mode shows only the lit bits as thin outlines and moves them every minute to protect the screen. Made with love for binary clocks by Luca Iannantuoni.

Lighter on the battery: the moon is computed once an hour and kept as an image, the battery level and hour format are read once a minute. About five times less work at each redraw, same look.
