Your week, painted as a trail. Living Scenes - Runner's High turns your watch face into an illustrated journey from a quiet meadow to a mountain summit. Your saved runs move the runner farther along the trail each week, so the landscape becomes a calm, glanceable picture of your progress. WHAT THE SCENE IS TELLING YOU - Your weekly runs climb the mountain. The trail passes through meadow, forest, foothills and ridge before reaching the summit. Choose a weekly goal from 10-120 km or 10-75 mi; every landscape stage scales to that goal. - Body Battery changes the ground underfoot. High energy gives you a dry trail. Lower energy brings damp ground, mud or winter slush. At camp it also controls the fire and the reach of the runner's headlamp. - Stress rolls in as fog. A calm day keeps the distant mountain clear. Higher stress softens the distance while leaving the trail readable. - Watch battery appears in the trail markers. A healthy battery keeps the painted posts fresh; as it falls, the markings fade and the cairns weather. - Put the watch on charge and a mountain storm arrives. Rain crosses the wooded trail, while higher ground turns to a snow squall. - Night becomes a real stop on the journey. The runner makes camp beside the trail. The fire follows Body Battery, the headlamp can be warm, cool or amber, and the camper occasionally looks around. - Small rewards mark good weeks. Birds greet a strong morning. Reach a new landscape stage after a well-recovered night and a deer may appear. Reach the summit and the watch keeps a flag for the completed week. There are also two rare evening visitors for runners pursuing the highest goal. THE DETAILS Three configurable data fields: weekly run distance, elevation gain, heart rate, steps, Body Battery, stress, calories, VO2 max, recovery time, temperature, sunrise/sunset or watch battery. Choose a male or female runner, kilometers or miles, weekly goal and headlamp color. Time follows the watch's 12- or 24-hour setting. PRIVACY Living Scenes - Runner's High makes no network requests and holds no Communications permission. It reads Garmin's own on-watch activity and sensor data to draw the scene. A small amount of weekly progress and morning Body Battery state is stored locally on the watch. No data is transmitted, collected or shared.
