Tide fills the screen with the hour stacked over the minutes in tall, square-cut or rounded digits. A colour rises from the bottom, and where it covers the digits they turn black. Everything is set in the Connect IQ app, in four sections: - Time: digits that take a new shape every minute, keep one shape, or sit in a classic grid; square-cut or rounded; light, regular, bold or heavy; any size; 12- or 24-hour time - Fill: what the colour shows (seconds, steps toward your goal, watch battery or minutes of the hour) in 7 colours - Date and battery: the date curves along the top edge in 5 formats, the battery sits at the bottom, each with its own size, colour and weight - Always-on: outline or thin digits at full size, in white, grey or your fill colour, with the date and battery if you want them Good to know: - To protect the AMOLED screen from burn-in, the face shifts a few pixels each minute, awake and in always-on, so the same pixels don't stay lit. - Garmin limits how bright the always-on face may be. If the date and battery would make it too bright, Tide hides them, the date first. - Tide uses only data your watch already has. Nothing is collected or sent anywhere.
