A vine of leaves carries twelve flowers, one for every hour: roses at twelve, three, six and nine, smaller blossoms between them. They are your step goal. Each morning the wreath starts in bud; as you walk the flowers open one by one, clockwise from twelve, and the wreath is in full bloom when the goal is met. Inside the wreath the time is set large in Bodoni Moda, a classic high-contrast serif, with the date above it in your watch's own language. Three readings sit under the time, heart rate, steps and Body Battery to start with, and battery and alerts at the foot. Five wreaths: blush roses on plum, dusty rose on ivory, white roses on sage, champagne on midnight blue, and a bright wildflower mix. The flowers can follow your steps, Body Battery, intensity minutes, floors or battery instead. On memory-in-pixel screens every wreath is drawn for 64 colours, and ivory turns to a white dial that reads best in sunlight; on AMOLED every petal is anti-aliased. The always-on mode keeps the vine, the open flowers as fine outlines and the time.
