Popis

*** INFO - if you can not start or update the app please uninstall/restart watch/install again *** The app generates the Maidenhead Locator System also QTH or QRA grid system which is a geographic co-ordinate system used by amateur radio operators to describe their locations. Its purpose is to be concise, accurate and robust in the face of interference and adverse transmission conditions. The Maidenhead Locator System can describe locations anywhere in the world (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maidenhead_Locator_System). At start the APP tries to get one time GPS fix. Then it displays the GPS coordinates and the Locator GRID. The APP continue to get the one time fix at the 1 minut interval and update the GRID Locator. It could be usefull if you move along with the APP running. The 10-character GRID Locator is compatible with the RaDAR (Rapid Deployment Amateur Radio) The color of the border indicates the quality of the GPS fix: RED - no fix ORANGE - poor YELLOW - usable GREEN - good If you prefer to get the GRID Location occasionally please look at the GRID Locator widget - https://apps.garmin.com/en-US/apps/12b160f5-f5e3-4528-97d5-54713164329d If you find the app worth the time spent on creating it you may buy me a coffee... https://www.paypal.me/jakubkasprzycki 73 de SQ9JXW
