Your running music, started from your watch. Ritmik brings the music and training of the Ritmik app into your Garmin's own Run activity. Press START on the watch and your music begins on your iPhone, matched to your pace. STOP pauses it, and when you finish the activity, Ritmik saves your run too. Your Garmin records everything as usual: GPS, heart rate, laps. ON THE WATCH - Your music tempo, big and clear - Your training plan session and the current step with its time left - Before you press START: what is about to start WHAT IT DOES - START, STOP, laps and finishing on the watch control the music on your phone. - Optional (switch in Ritmik): training plan sessions and interval workouts go onto the watch as a Garmin workout - the watch leads through the steps with its own alerts, the music follows. Off by default: Ritmik leads the steps and your watch stays quiet. - Optional: Ritmik speaks your watch's announcements over the music, so each workout step is announced once, not twice. - Your music tempo is saved with the activity and appears as a "Music tempo" chart in Garmin Connect. - Your heart rate from the watch shows in Ritmik and is saved with your run. WHAT YOU NEED - The Ritmik app on your iPhone (iOS 26 or later), free to download. Android is not supported yet. - Garmin Connect on the same iPhone, with your watch paired. - A compatible watch (see the device list). On Venu 2, Venu 2 Plus, Venu 2S, Venu Sq 2 and Venu Sq 2 Music the field shows the tempo and controls the music; workouts on the watch and announcements through Ritmik need a newer watch. SET UP 1. In Ritmik: Settings / Pulse source / Garmin, then follow the steps. 2. Put the Ritmik field on your first data screen - the one you see after START: Run / Run Settings / Data Screens / Connect IQ / Ritmik. 3. When your watch asks whether to turn on the field's announcements: choose Yes. GOOD TO KNOW - The data field is free. Some parts of the Ritmik app need a Ritmik Premium subscription: the whole music library, every week of every training plan (week 1 is always free) and unlimited special modes (3 a month are free). - If another app played music last, iOS won't let Ritmik start the music by itself. Your watch then says "Open on phone", and a notification starts your run with one tap. - The field talks only to the Ritmik app on your phone and sends nothing to the internet.
