Popis
Minimalistic faces BMW/VOD/Old gauges style.
App name: Kyiv Tacho Type: Watch face Tagline (short description): Minimalist instrument-style analog face: fixed home time zone, city weather without GPS, sunrise/sunset marks, 7 data slots, tap to open.
Description
Kyiv Tacho is a clean analog watch face inspired by car instrument dials. The time is calculated from UTC and your own time-zone setting, so a lost or spoofed GPS fix can never move your clock to the wrong country.
Five ready-made looks are built in — Retro cream gauge, Amber night, White sport, Minimal dark and Petrol tacho — or you can build your own from 12 dial colours, 16 accent colours, 12 hand colours and 10 fonts.
Main features
Home time from UTC + your offset, with EU or US summer-time rules, or none.
Second time zone: as an extra arrow hand on the dial, as a mini analog gauge, or as a digital window.
Sunrise and sunset marks on the outer ring, with optional times. Calculated on the watch for the city you choose — no GPS needed.
Weather for a city you pick from a list (or your own coordinates), fetched through your phone every 30 minutes. Temperature plus a condition icon.
7 data slots: three gauges, three windows and a small text line. Each can show heart rate, steps, calories, temperature, weather, battery, solar intensity, Body Battery, stress, notifications, date, second time zone, sunrise, sunset, sunrise + sunset, or nothing.
Tap any field to jump straight to Garmin's own widget for that data.
Date window with yesterday and tomorrow, like a date wheel.
Alarm indicator, and an optional phone-disconnected icon.
Outer ring modes: redline, minutes of the hour, battery or step goal.
Numerals: 1-12, only 12/3/6/9, a minute scale, or none.
Up to three lines of your own text on the dial.
Separate size sliders for text, hands, ticks and numerals, and gauges.
Optional pixel-art dial patterns: waves, grid, checker, dots, bubbles, diagonal.
Tuned for both screen types: exact 64-colour palette and larger text on MIP models (Fenix 8 Solar), smooth colours plus a low-power lume view on AMOLED.
Settings are changed in the Connect IQ app on your phone (49 options).
Permissions
Sensor history: heart rate, Body Battery, stress and temperature history shown on the dial.
Background + internet: the 30-minute weather request for the city you choose. Nothing else is sent, and no location is used.
Complications: opens Garmin's widget when you tap a field.
Privacy: weather comes from the free Open-Meteo API using only the coordinates of the city you selected in settings. No personal data leaves the watch.
Fonts: Barlow Semi Condensed, Jost, Michroma, Oswald, Orbitron, Rajdhani and Teko are used under the SIL Open Font License; the licence texts are bundled with the app.
