Popis

This is the legacy version of 80/20 Run Datafield for older Garmin models, i.e. Fenix 5, Fenix 6 (not PRO), Forerunner 735XT, ... . When using a newer watch please use latest 80/20 Run Zones datafield (Version 3) ! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Creating this data field was inspired by the "80/20 Training System". The data field gives a visual feedback about the training zone you're currently running. This helps to plan and train more effectively as you will not have to tinker with the training zones of your watch. The zones are labeled as specified by the "80/20 Training System". You will get a detailed summary after your training in Garmin Connect. So you can reflect training goals and plan your further training accordingly. Choose heart rate, pace or power as your preferred metric. Simply set up your lactate threshold heart rate, functional training pace and/or power in the ConnectIQ app settings to get correct zone calculation. The zones are calculated automatically. Instructions about finding these values can be found in the book mentioned below or at www.8020endurance.com. All three types of metric will be recorded and will be displayed later in your training statistics on the Garmin Connect platform! PLEASE NOTE WHEN USING POWER: - Only STRYD power sensors can be used as power meter source. To enable your STRYD sensor, it must be bound as (bike) power meter in your GARMIN's sensor menu. - Using GARMIN HRM or GARMIN foot pod will not work as these do not send out power data to external devices. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The "80/20 Training System" was invented by D. Warden and M. Fitzgerald (www.8020endurance.com) and zone calculation algorithm is based on their book "80/20 Triathlon: Discover the Breakthrough Elite-Training Formula for Ultimate Fitness and Performance at All Levels, 1. Ed, 2018, DaCapoPress, NY". The app was approved and created with the kind support of the authors. The logos are copyright by the authors. All rights reserved.
