ApneaFlow is a training app for freedivers that supports dry static apnea training and structured breathing exercises. ApneaFlow Pro adds presets (workout templates), customizable notifications, additional analysis features, and a new training mode to the free version. Find the basic features in the free version's Store listing: https://apps.garmin.com/de-DE/apps/0d3d06c9-1ae1-45a3-92da-b1bfe43b72e8. ## Additional Features ### Pyramid Training Mode After the preparation phase, interval durations increase step by step and then return to the starting value. The sequence can also run in reverse. ### Workout Presets and Round Preview Use ten presets for each mode. Load, save, or overwrite settings, and review the workout in the round preview before starting. To restore factory settings, select More, then Reset Presets. ### Mark the Start of Contractions Depending on your device, mark the start of contractions with a hand movement, touchscreen tap, or button press. Find this setting under Options, Contraction. ### Charts on Your Watch View your heart rate and stress on your watch after training. The contraction chart appears if at least one contraction was recorded. ### Analysis in Garmin Connect Garmin Connect displays for the last rounds heart rate data and recorded contractions. Statistics show each round's heart rate, duration, contraction time if available, and elapsed time when a phase is ended early. Three charts show heart rate during hold and preparation phases, as well as a breakdown of the phases. Since Garmin requires a value for every point in time, heart rate is set to 30 during the other phase. You can use the phase chart to overlay the heart rate curve. ### Custom Notifications Under Options, Signal Pattern, choose when to receive audio and/or vibration cues. In addition to five presets, you can create a custom pattern with your own timings. ## Safety Important: ApneaFlow is designed for dry exercises and guided apnea training on land. It is **not** intended for solo training in water and does not replace training, safety protocols, or supervision by a qualified buddy or instructor. Never train in water without a buddy. Do not use the app while driving, cycling, or in other high-risk situations. Do not use it where dizziness, loss of consciousness, or delayed reactions could endanger you or others. Use at your own risk. If you have health concerns, pre-existing conditions, or are unsure, seek medical advice before use. ## Availability The charts available on your watch depend on your device and the training data collected. The contraction chart appears only if at least one contraction was recorded. Garmin Connect determines which FIT fields and charts are displayed. Custom fields may not be shown or overlaid.
