A little movement. A little mischief. A very good reason to take the stairs. Retro Pin-Up pairs a digital clock with a vintage pin-up illustration that changes as you make progress. Start fully dressed, reach your goal, and discover all five looks along the way. Consider it a tiny wardrobe department on your wrist. Your first main data field runs the show. With a goal-based metric selected, the illustration changes at 25%, 50%, 75% and 100% of your goal. Daily readings start a fresh reveal each day; weekly readings follow your weekly progress. Choose heart rate instead and the five looks follow Garmin heart-rate zones 1 to 5. Pick Classic for two main fields, Balanced for three, or Compact for four. You can also add a small field above the clock and another at the bottom. Both extras can be switched off. The starting setup keeps things simple: battery above the time, steps as your progress field, and daily distance underneath. Your progress field can show steps, daily calories, daily active minutes, daily distance, floors climbed, weekly intensity minutes, heart rate, weekly running distance or weekly cycling distance. Other fields offer those choices plus watch battery, Body Battery, stress, blood oxygen, respiration, recovery time, running VO2 max, temperature, sunrise/sunset, notifications, altitude, resting heart rate and pressure. Plenty to choose from. Thankfully, you can change your mind. The five progress dots and outer progress ring have separate switches. Use either, both, or neither. The reveal still works whichever combination you choose. New installs start with dots on and the progress ring off. Open the watch-face settings on your watch or in Connect IQ to choose your layout, data, goals and formats. Steps can use Garmin's daily goal or your own custom target. Floors and weekly intensity-minute goals come from Garmin. Total calories include resting calories; daily active minutes count moderate minutes plus twice your vigorous minutes. Choose English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Polish, Czech, Slovak, Slovenian or Hungarian. Date format and units are separate choices. The starting setup uses English, a 24-hour clock, metric units and a date such as MON 26 OCT. Energy starts in kilojoules; kilocalories are available too. On AMOLED watches, choose a dimmed full face, a large time-only display or a blank screen while your wrist rests. MIP watches keep the full face visible in low power. Available readings depend on your watch, firmware and Garmin data. A missing reading appears as --. The gallery shows AMOLED displays.
