The circular display is split into 4 high-contrast color quadrants, readable even in full sun: - SPM — real-time stroke rate, detected via the watch's built-in accelerometer - 500M — projected time to complete 500 meters at current pace - 1000M — projected time to complete 1000 meters at current pace - 200M — projected time to complete 200 meters at current pace Pace projections are based on GPS speed, averaged over the last few seconds to stay stable through small speed variations during paddling. Note: stroke rate detection (SPM) relies on the watch's internal accelerometer and is designed for canoe and kayak use. Accuracy may vary depending on how the watch is worn or mounted on the boat.
