Graticule Tactical Mono is a tactical watch face drawn for the black-and-white Instinct screen. A full-width time band with big block digits, a UTC (Zulu) line under the date, a daylight bar from sunrise to sunset and the seconds filling the round sub-window. WHY YOU MAY LIKE IT • Made for the 1-bit Instinct display: block digits with cut corners stay sharp on a black-and-white screen. Small digits are shaped so that 1 and 7, or 6 and 8, never look alike. • Day and night at a glance: the time band is white by day and turns black with an outline after sunset. Keep it always day, always night, or let it follow the sun. • Daylight bar: the bright part runs from sunrise to sunset, with both times printed under it and a sun (at night a moon) marking the current moment. • UTC time under the date, for navigation, radio and travel. • Seconds in the sub-window as a filling wedge. • Two themes: dark and light. MAKE IT YOURS • 3 data fields in the bottom row, each with 16 data types to choose from, or empty: heart rate, steps, energy, battery, battery in days, temperature, weather, sunrise and sunset, calories, floors, stress, altitude, notifications, active minutes, distance, date. • Long values fit automatically: the row tightens and the digits get smaller instead of running off the edge of the screen. • Time format: as the watch, 12 h or 24 h. The UTC line is always 24 h. • The seconds and the daylight bar can each be switched off. • Settings on the watch and in the Connect IQ app on your phone. Units (km or mi, °C or °F, m or ft) follow your watch. Menu languages: English, Polish, German. BUILT FOR REAL USE • Every number and label stays clear of the cut screen corners and of the sub-window ring: the layout was measured against the exact screen outline of each supported watch. • Missing data shows "--", never a misleading zero. • Sunrise and sunset do not need a live GPS fix. The face uses the last known location. If no location is known yet, the daylight bar stays empty and the time band stays in day mode. • Every supported watch has been run in the Connect IQ simulator, including a full simulated day minute by minute. PRIVACY The last known location is stored only on your watch, to calculate sunrise and sunset. The face has no internet permission and sends no data anywhere.
