Popis

Chainline keeps track of the parts on your bike that wear out: chain, cassette, chainrings, tyres and brake pads. After each ride you log the distance on your watch, or take it straight from your last cycling activity on watches that share their activity history, and every part counts down to its replacement. Rides in the rain count heavier for the drivetrain and the brake pads, by a wet factor you choose. For the chain you can go further. Enter what your chain checker reads, 0.25 %, 0.40 %, 0.50 %, and Chainline draws a line through your measurements, extends it to the wear limit for your drivetrain and turns your usual distance per week into a date. You see how many kilometres the chain has left and roughly when you will need a new one, before it starts eating the cassette. WHAT IT DOES - Seven parts per bike: chain, cassette, chainrings, front and rear tyre, front and rear brake pads - Distance per ride typed in, or taken from your last cycling activity where the watch supports it - Wet or dry per ride; wet rides count with a wet factor (x1.0 to x4.0, default x2.0) - Chain wear readings with a straight-line projection to the limit: 0.50 % (11-13 speed), 0.75 % (5-10 speed), 0.80 % (SRAM checker) or 1.0 % (single speed) - Kilometres left and a replacement date from your average distance per week over the last four weeks - A list of the parts due soon across all your bikes - Up to four bikes with their own names - Maintenance log with rides, chain readings and replaced parts - Adjustable lifespan and distance already ridden per part, km or miles - Glance with the next part to replace and a progress bar WHAT IT NEEDS - Your distance per ride, or a cycling activity recorded on the watch (activity history needs Connect IQ 3.3 or newer) - A chain checker or caliper for the chain readings - The default lifespans are general guidelines; set your own per part from experience or the manufacturer's advice
