Opis
Hi! I'm a hobby developer, and Interstellar is a watch face I first made for my own watch. I wanted something a bit different on my wrist: a little solar system that tells the time.
How it works
- The outer planet shows the hour.
- The middle planet shows the minutes.
- The small inner planet shows the seconds while your watch is awake.
- Closest to the centre is a space station. Its amber trail fills anticlockwise from 12 o'clock to show your battery, or how close you are to your step goal.
Each planet is lit on the side facing the Sun, with a darker night side that turns as it goes round.
You can make it your own in the Connect IQ app:
- Centre: Sun or eclipse
- Hour, minute and seconds planets: Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Neptune, the Moon, Venus or Mercury
- Inner orbit: space station (detailed or simple) or any planet
- Gauge: battery or step goal
- Hour marks: lines, stars, lines of light or numbers
- Number style: classic or sci-fi
- Orbit lines: on or off
On AMOLED watches it switches to a simple dimmed version in always-on mode, to look after your screen.
I've tested it on lots of watch sizes in the simulator, but I can't try it on every watch myself. If something doesn't look right on yours, please let me know using the contact option on this page and I'll do my best to fix it. All ratings are really appreciated.
