An animated pixel-art London that lives through your day. The sky follows your real sunrise and sunset, and when it rains, snows or storms where you are, it does on your watch too. If you like it, a rating or review means a lot. Which city or place should come next? Tell me in a review. WHAT MAKES THIS FACE DIFFERENT • A sky that moves through dawn, day, dusk and a starry night, timed to your own sunrise and sunset • Live weather, each with its own animation: rain, snow settling on the roofs, thunderstorms with lightning behind the skyline, sleet, and drifting clouds • A short wake animation when you raise your wrist • Fireworks over the city when you reach your step, floors or intensity-minutes goal • London from the West End rooftops: St Paul's, the London Eye, Big Ben and the Shard MAKE IT YOURS • Up to three slots: heart rate, steps, battery, Body Battery, stress, temperature, UV index, sunrise, sunset, calories, floors, intensity minutes, Pulse Ox, respiration, sleep score, altitude, recovery time, alarms • Weather from Garmin, Open-Meteo or OpenWeather (your own key), for where you are or a place you choose, or one weather all the time • Sky lighting: follow the sun, always day, dawn, dusk or night, or your own times • Wake animation on every wrist raise, at most every 15 minutes, or off; goal fireworks on or off • Always-on mode: the time, with the date if you like • English, German, French, Italian and Spanish • Settings in the Garmin Connect app, or on the watch (Customise). Changed a setting on the phone and it didn't stick? Press Save before leaving a section (Display and battery, Sky and lighting, Weather source), or change it on the watch. MORE CITIES New York, Paris, Manchester and Giza, plus "Nearest to me", which shows the city closest to you, are coming in Faces for Places, the full paid version, on its way to the Connect IQ Store very soon. Lite shows them as locked for now, but stay tuned... GOOD TO KNOW • Battery: the defaults (Garmin weather for where you are) use the least. Web weather, a custom weather location and the wake animation on every wrist raise use more; they are marked in the settings. • Permissions: location picks your weather. Only a rounded position (about 1 km) is sent, and only to the weather service you choose. Nothing else is collected or sent. • Web weather (Open-Meteo, OpenWeather) comes through your phone, every 15, 30 or 60 minutes. • MIP screens (Forerunner 255, fenix 7, Enduro...) show the scene in their 64 colours, with palettes made for them, so it looks different from the AMOLED pictures: see the fourth screenshot. • FAQ and privacy policy: https://ifunanyaodunukwe.github.io/faces-for-places/ MADE BY ME Faces for Places is my first watch face, made by one independent developer.
