SETTINGS ON THE WATCH Hold UP, pick Watch Face, select Waymark Lite, press START, then Customize. The menu is drawn in the style of the face: a short How it works guide and the moving trail switch. A TRAIL ON A TOPO MAP A night topographic map with contour lines, a grid and a north arrow. A trail climbs from the edge of the screen to the summit of Alder Peak. Your position on it is your step count against the step goal set on your watch: halfway to your goal, halfway up. Reach your goal and the flag flies on the summit. When you raise your wrist, the dashes march towards the summit and your position pulses. ON THE FACE Big time, date, battery, and three readings: steps, altitude and the next sunrise or sunset. If your watch has no value, the face shows -- rather than a made-up number. A separate always-on design on a black screen shifts slightly every minute to protect the screen. THE FULL VERSION Waymark draws a new map every day from 21 maps, has five map colours, lets you pick the three readings, and keeps a Summit log with your streaks.
