Opis

Lunette shows the Moon as it is right now. The phase is calculated on the watch from the positions of the Moon and the Sun, with a soft shadow line, the dark side faintly lit by earthshine and the seas drawn where they really are. In the sky setting the Moon is tilted the way you see it from where you stand, so in the southern hemisphere and near the equator it turns the way it does above you. Around the face runs a thin moon ring: the current lunar cycle from new moon at the top, clockwise to the next new moon, with the first quarter, full moon and last quarter marked at their actual times and a dot for now. Turn your wrist and the shadow line slides from yesterday's phase to today's. It works without a phone, a server or an account. WHAT IT DOES - Moon phase with illuminated fraction, calculated with published astronomical formulas (Meeus), with a soft terminator and earthshine on crescents - Sky orientation (tilt as seen from your location) or upright, with automatic northern or southern hemisphere - Moon ring with the lunar cycle and the four main phases at their real moments - Bottom line of your choice: phase name and percentage, next main phase with day and time, moonrise and moonset, day of the lunar cycle, or nothing - Silver, gold or ice moon; earthshine, ring and wrist-turn animation can each be switched off; 12 or 24 hour time - Its own look on MIP screens (fenix, Forerunner) with dithered shading, and a minimal always-on mode on AMOLED WHAT IT NEEDS - A supported Garmin watch; settings on the watch (long press on the watch face) or in the Connect app - For sky orientation and moonrise/moonset: a recent location from weather or an activity; without it the Moon is shown upright
