You can unlock the face permanently at any time, during or after the trial, by scanning a QR code. When the trial ends, the QR code stays on screen until the face is unlocked. HOW TO UNLOCK 1. On the watch, open the face settings, then About / status / unlock, then Unlock now. Or use the Pay link in the face settings in the Connect IQ app on your phone. 2. Scan the QR code with your phone. The payment page already has your personal code, so there's nothing to type. 3. After paying, tap the QR screen. The watch checks the status and unlocks within a few minutes. The watch must be connected to your phone. A long press on the date opens the ALLCALENDAR app if it's installed, otherwise the system calendar. ALWAYS-ON DISPLAY The AOD mode is a clean outline version of the dial with everything except seconds. You can turn each AOD element on or off, and the hands always stay visible. It's built within Garmin's AMOLED brightness limits, with burn-in protection.
