An expedition instrument panel: two round enamel gauges, two recessed data windows and a raised plate with the time across the middle, set into a matte fascia with a topographic map pressed into it. The time sits large on the plate in the centre, the colon in the accent colour. The month and day are on its left, the weekday and the running seconds on its right, with AM or PM beneath when the watch is on 12-hour time. Two gauges tuck under the plate, one top left and one bottom right. Each has a 0-10 scale printed on an enamel face, a tapered needle that casts its shadow, and a raised cap over the pivot carrying the exact value and what it measures. Choose what each one shows: battery, steps against your goal, body battery, stress, floors against your goal, intensity minutes against your weekly goal, or heart rate. Battery and body battery carry a red zone at the bottom of the scale and stress one at the top; a reading inside the zone turns its value red, and a bolt appears under the battery while it charges. The other two corners hold recessed windows of three rows each, every row with its own icon. Each row can show the weather and temperature, the next sunrise or sunset, UTC time, heart rate, body battery, altitude, steps, distance, calories, floors climbed, intensity minutes, the watch battery or humidity, or stay empty. By default the top window shows weather, sunrise or sunset and UTC, and the bottom one heart rate, body battery and altitude. The weather icon changes with the conditions, and shows the moon at night. Everything is matte: powder-coated fascia, dusty enamel, turned metal trims round every gauge and window, with a printed minute track round the rim. Four themes set the whole palette. Always-on keeps the whole instrument as a dark night version - the dials with their scales, the plate and both windows - with the needles, every reading, the time and the date over it, all dimmed. It is measured against the display brightness limit, so it stays lit instead of blanking after a few seconds. SETTINGS Theme: Canyon, Moss, Dusk or Basalt. Plum with mustard and terracotta dials and copper trim; forest with sand and sage and brass; slate navy with ochre and dusty blue and steel; charcoal with burnt orange and stone and gunmetal. Temperature units: follow the watch, Celsius or Fahrenheit. Top left gauge and bottom right gauge: battery, steps, body battery, stress, floors climbed, intensity minutes (week) or heart rate. Top window rows 1 to 3 and bottom window rows 1 to 3: empty, weather, sunrise / sunset, UTC time, heart rate, body battery, altitude, steps, distance, calories, floors climbed, intensity minutes (week), watch battery or humidity. Time format, distance and altitude units and the language of the date follow the watch.
