Descrição

Did you fly through that jibe? CleanJibe on your Garmin tells you while you ride. It knows when you are up on the foil, counts every flight, and gives every turn its verdict. Flew through, touchdown, or fell in. THIS IS THE BETA It is free and open to anyone, with no key and no account. CleanJibe is built with its riders. New versions come here first. Tell us what looks wrong at cleanjibe.org/beta/#tell. ON THE WATER A buzz and a flash give you each turn's verdict at once. Tacks and jibes are counted apart, with your dry streak beside them. Your best 2 s and 10 s show live, and a new personal best buzzes. The watch estimates the wind by itself, and counts your pump strokes and takeoff attempts. Eight pages show speed, session, records, turns, the map and your time on the foil. Large text gives you five big screens instead. AFTERWARDS The watch saves a Windsurf activity with a lap for every flight and one for every stretch off the foil. Connect intervals.icu once, and every session reaches CleanJibe by itself, on the iPhone or at cleanjibe.org. Garmin Connect's phone app cannot export a file. On a computer, export it at connect.garmin.com and drop it on cleanjibe.org, free, with no upload. On an iPhone, CleanJibe Wingfoil Analyzer is open on TestFlight at testflight.apple.com/join/nygqGGcn. New to it? cleanjibe.org/start walks you through a 20-minute test on land.

0.9.29: A new best 2 s stays big on your wrist for 3 seconds. A jibe you start slowly now counts as a jibe, not a course change, and no turn goes missing from the saved file. 0.9.28: Your watch can send each session straight to the CleanJibe beta app on your iPhone. Turn on Send summary to phone app in Garmin Connect. 0.9.27: A jump now buzzes long then short, so it never feels like a fall. Your turn's verdict always buzzes, even right after a jump. Longest flight and new best wait until your third flight. The Turns page spells out flew and dry, port and stbd, where they fit. 0.9.26: Resume in the session menu now restarts a paused session. After a GPS gap or a pause, the turn you were in is judged on what happened before it. 0.9.25: With Log wrist motion on, the transfer time to Garmin Connect is much longer. The watch now asks once whether to keep it, and says so after the save. 0.9.24: The watch counts your jumps. Each one buzzes three quick ticks and shows JUMP with your count. 0.9.23: After a session with turns, the SAVED page shows your turn ladder first. A new Laps setting gives one lap per flight or one lap for the whole session. Now also on fenix 6 Pro, Forerunner 945 and Forerunner 245 Music. 0.9.22: Your wrist tells you when it stops counting. A pause buzzes, and buzzes again every two minutes until you resume. When the GPS drops, a broken ring shows it on every page. A wind you set by hand now lasts one session, and the next start asks Same wind? While the watch estimates the wind itself, the start page says wind auto. 0.9.21: Your wrist names turns the way the phone does. A jibe you carry on round through the wind is a jibe. A turn split by one slow second is one turn. A swim during a bear-away now ends your dry streak. 0.9.20: A tack you fall out of counts. A turn you go in halfway through now shows on your wrist as a fall, named a tack or a jibe by the same rules as the phone. A session that ends with you in the water ends with a fall, and a late brush of the water after a flight no longer breaks your flew streak. 0.9.19: The wrist reads the fall like the phone. A jibe you never got going again after is a fall on the wrist too, and the buzz comes as soon as the stop is long enough to be a fall. The tack and jibe rows equal the phone's on the same session. Every word the watch prints comes from the one copy source the phone and the site read; the speed records read "best 2 s" and "best 10 s" and the foil page says "on foil", like the phone. 0.9.18: Pages read on the round glass. Every page follows two rules now: the widest line sits in the middle, where the glass is widest, and numbers are larger while words are smaller. Turns is one row: clean, flew through, touchdown, fell in. Tacks and jibes get a row each. Seven switches in the Connect IQ settings hide the pages you never read; the large-text set and the pages after a save follow them. Every turn is counted again when the wind axis locks, so the tack and jibe rows always add up, and two exactly opposed reaches still give a wind.
