MYSTEPS · digital step-count watch face for Garmin watches A digital watch face built to show how much you have walked this week at a glance: today's steps, seven bars with the steps of each day of the week, and a big clock with seconds, all drawn with segments like a classic digital watch. No images, no permissions and nothing sent anywhere. WHAT IT SHOWS - Time as HH:MM with small seconds on the right. In 12-hour mode it shows AM/PM and drops the leading zero. - Today's steps in seven-segment digits ("--" if the watch gives no value; capped at six digits). - Seven bars, one per day of the week, with the day's initial below and today highlighted. Each bar has six levels: its height is the percentage of that day's step goal (any step lights the first level and reaching the goal fills the bar). Each column shows the most recent value for that day of the week: today's for today, and for the other days the one from the last six days. With no data, just a thin line. - In Spanish the week starts on Monday (L M X J V S D) and the date is day/month; in English it starts on Sunday and the date is month/day. It follows the watch language and can be changed in the settings. - Date and day of the week (for example, 10/29 THU). - Along the top, left to right: Bluetooth (if the phone is connected and you have not hidden it), an envelope only when there are notifications, "ALM" only when an alarm is set, and the battery in four blocks, which turn red below 20 %. SETTINGS (Garmin Connect, phone) - Time format: watch setting, 12 or 24 hours. - Show seconds. - Show Bluetooth. - First day of the week: automatic by language, Monday or Sunday. - Bar colours: a single colour; by goal (red below 50 % of the goal, amber from 50 to 99 %, green when the goal is reached); or by day of the week (seven tones). - Colour theme: white, amber, green, red or light LCD. Setting labels are in Spanish and English; Garmin Connect decides which one you see. AMOLED DISPLAYS In low-power mode it shows only the time as a thin dim outline and moves it slightly every minute to protect the screen; the bars, steps and seconds return when you raise your wrist. PERMISSIONS AND PRIVACY It asks for no permissions: no location, heart rate, sensors or internet, and it collects and sends no data. Steps come from the daily activity the watch already keeps. COMPATIBILITY 149 Garmin models with watch faces, round, semi-round, rectangular or Instinct, MIP and AMOLED: Forerunner (45 to 970), fēnix (3 to 9), Instinct (2, 2S, 2X, 3, Crossover and E), Venu, vívoactive, epix, MARQ, Enduro, Descent, Approach, D2, and the quatix and tactix that share a profile, among others. On two-colour displays (Instinct) the bar colours appear as a single tone. LIMITS It has been used on a real quatix 5; on every other watch it has only been tested in the Connect IQ simulator, including the low-power mode of AMOLED screens. Battery life has not been measured. Steps and goals for earlier days are whatever each watch stores, and it may not keep seven days. Independent watch face, not affiliated with Garmin. Provided "as is", without warranty and at your own risk.
