Descrição
Train with HRX Coach on your Garmin watch. Keep total time, the current exercise and your heart rate visible while you move through your workout using the watch buttons.
HYROX TIMER
Eight run targets alternate with SkiErg, Sled Push, Sled Pull, Burpee Broad Jumps, Rowing, Farmers Carry, Sandbag Lunges and Wall Balls. Press BACK/LAP when you finish each stage. Pause, resume or finish early, then save your full or partial result.
YOUR WORKOUT ON YOUR WRIST
Send a planned session or a configured Free workout from HRX Coach on iPhone. The watch saves exercise names and targets for offline use. Sending does not start a timer on the iPhone or the watch. One downloaded workout is stored at a time, alongside the built-in HYROX timer; sending another while idle replaces the downloaded workout.
HEART RATE AND RESULTS
See live BPM during training. Saved results include recorded stage times and available heart-rate data. Sync to HRX Coach on iPhone to see the normal workout history, average/max BPM and a heart-rate graph. Missing sensor readings are not invented. Saving also creates a local Garmin activity, which reaches Garmin Connect through normal device synchronization.
PHONE AND OFFLINE USE
The built-in timer and heart-rate recording work without a phone during training. Depending on watch memory, 1, 2, 10 or 20 results can wait on the watch for HRX Coach. When that queue is full, you must sync before starting another workout. Workout sending and result sync require a compatible iPhone, Garmin Connect, a signed-in HRX Coach account and the matching HRX Coach iOS release. Android companion sync is not supported in this release. Optional AI plans in the iPhone app follow its subscription terms.
HOW TO CONNECT
Pair the watch in Garmin Connect, then open HRX Coach on the watch. On iPhone, open HRX Coach → Profile → Garmin and connect your watch. Keep both apps open nearby to send workouts or receive saved results. If delivery is delayed, open Garmin Connect and return to HRX Coach.
CONTROLS
On five-button watches, START/GPS starts, pauses and resumes; BACK/LAP advances stages or opens paused options. UP/DOWN browses workouts, targets, menus and splits. On touch-led models, swipe up/down to browse. On single-button models, the button advances stages; hold the screen to pause, then hold again for options. Swipes never advance a running stage.
PLEASE NOTE
Exercise targets are guidance: distance, repetitions, sets and rests are advanced manually. The app does not automatically count repetitions or detect stations, and does not record a GPS route. Heart-rate availability and accuracy depend on your watch and sensor contact. This is a training tool, not a medical device.
Compatible Garmin watches are listed under Compatible Devices. Instinct has a dedicated high-contrast layout; Crossover keeps workout fields clear of its analog hands. Interface: English, German, French, Spanish and Polish, following the watch language. Custom workout titles keep the text sent from the phone.
Support: [email protected]
HRX Coach is an independent app and is not affiliated with Garmin or HYROX.
