You don't set out to build a wall. You just lay today's brick. Brick by Brick turns your training consistency into the thing you glance at a hundred times a day. Every workout you record on this watch lays a brick on your watch face. Each week is a row. Keep showing up and the wall grows beneath your streak. Miss a stretch and the wall shows it honestly, without shaming you for it. (Triathletes: not that kind of brick. Though those count too.) THE WALL • Today's brick burns bright and lights the bricks around it. You'll want to lay it just to see it glow. • Your live streak stands bright and full. Earlier streaks remain as dimmed old wall. Incomplete weeks fade back but never disappear. The wall is the streak. • Starting out? The wall stands ready as faint scaffolding, and your first weeks fill it in. REST IS PART OF THE PLAN Coaches say it plainly: rest days lay bricks too. Mark your planned rest days and they appear as mortar tiles with a coffee mug. Never as a gap, never as a missed day. MAKE IT YOURS • Coral, teal, violet, rose, amber and more. The whole wall retones to your pick, and on fēnix 8 generation watches you can dial in any shade you like, straight from the watch's own face editor. • Every setting works on the watch itself, no phone needed: weekly target, planned rest days, which activities count, minimum duration. • Forgot the watch, or trained on other equipment? "Manual brick" lets you mark today or yesterday as trained. HONEST BY DESIGN The wall is built only from activities recorded on this watch. Activities that live in Garmin Connect but not on the watch, such as rides recorded on an Edge bike computer or manual uploads, can't appear automatically: Garmin doesn't sync activities down to watches, for this or any watch face. If part of your training happens off the watch, Manual brick is the one tap that keeps your wall honest. Works beautifully on AMOLED and MIP displays alike, from the Forerunner 970 and fēnix 8 to the Venu 4, and dozens more.
