Opis

A digital clock built from split-flap tiles, set on a departure board. The hours and minutes sit on two large flap tiles along the bottom of the dial, each split by its hinge the way a real board is. The digits are drawn as seven-segment bars rather than set in a font, with the unused segments faintly visible the way a real display shows them. Time follows the watch's own 12/24-hour setting. Above the clock, one wide tile carries today's steps, sized for six digits so the count never changes size as the day goes on. Above that, two smaller tiles side by side show body battery and heart rate, each named in letter-spaced capitals beneath it. A row at the foot of the dial carries the weekday and date, the current temperature with a weather glyph - sun, moon, or either behind cloud, picked from real sunrise and sunset for your location - and the watch battery, shown as a level that turns red when it runs low and takes your accent colour while charging. Behind it all is a dark split-flap departure board: rows of flaps on their rails, every one carrying a faint letter or digit. While the watch is awake the letters change every second, as if the board were updating; the captions sit on clear rails between the rows so they always read. Always-on is a separate, dimmed frame: the clock tiles and the steps tile on a black background, with the board and the other readings left dark. It is kept within the display brightness limit, so it stays lit instead of blanking after a few seconds. SETTINGS Card colour: gold, ivory, black, oxblood, olive, navy, mustard or teak, the pairs of the old split-flap boards, or one of six lit LCD shades: monochrome green, orange, indiglo teal, sunburst yellow, tactical red or military olive. Sets the flap tiles; each comes with its own matching ink for the digits. Accent colour: gold, ivory, mustard, brick, sage, copper, lime, orange, teal, yellow, red or olive gold. Sets the captions under the tiles, the weekday and the charging battery. Temperature units: follow the watch, Celsius or Fahrenheit. Weather data always arrives in Celsius whatever the watch is set to, so this one cannot be derived.
