V7 - Bigger readings: the top row values, the two LCD panel values, the progress bar value and the AM / PM mark are 12 to 20 percent larger (260 px watches such as fenix 6 and fenix 7 keep their size). Text size Large now enlarges the time and the date row only - Five new themes: Crimson, Lagoon, Olive, Neon cyan and Neon magenta. On watches with Garmin's watch face editor, pick the theme there with a live preview - Bar colour: the progress bar in one of eight colours, or the theme's - New Tactical mode (red): the whole dial in red on black, at night or between your own hours. Off by default. Not on fenix 6 and fenix 6 Pro - Heart rate now updates every second while the watch is awake - Bigger type on 260 and 280 px MIP watches, and now on fenix 7S and fenix 7S Pro V6 - New Compass setting, North or Sun. North points the needle at north on watches that report a live heading, such as the fenix 8, and keeps the sun needle where they do not. Clasio now asks for the Sensor permission, which keeps that heading live with no activity running. Sun is the needle as before. Updating keeps Sun; a new install starts on North.
